Send us your want list. We may have some of your needs in stock. We have many antique maps and books not listed on the Web and we are actively buying antique maps. As time passes there are fewer and fewer antique maps and books available for sale at any particular time, so please be patient.

What is it and what is it worth?
Perhaps we can help answer those questions. We offer various levels of appraisal to suit your specific needs. A free preliminary discussion by phone, in person at our gallery, or from your map list will usually establish whether or not a more detailed appraisal is appropriate. An important first step is to determine the authenticity of the map; this can be done only after we have seen the map. The detailed written appraisal would be structured to suit your specific purpose, for example: eventual sale, inheritance taxes, insurance or donation to a tax-exempt entity. An appraisal results in the establishment of a dollar value for your map. We follow the specific guidance from the IRS for the written appraisal when income tax benefits are involved.
